Richard Walter is a celebrated storytelling guru, movie industry expert, and longtime Chairman of UCLA’s legendary graduate program in screenwriting. His graduates have written dozens of Hollywood blockbusters and prestigious indie productions, including Benjamin Button, Forrest Gump, Milk, Sideways, Jurassic Park, Indiana Jones, Munich, War of the Worlds, Eagle Eye and Amazing Stories. He is the author of Escape From Film School and Screenwriting: The Art, Craft and Business of Film and Television Writing and his latest book, Essentials of Screenwriting. Richard lectures on screenwriting and storytelling throughout North America and the world.
