DIGITAL MICRO MOVIE [Beginner]
Kick start your filmmaking career with this intensive, hands-on introduction to all elements of production. Make a short drama in 15 hours from initial idea to final film. In groups, you will script and storyboard your ideas, shoot using our broadcast-quality digital cameras, then edit your work in our Final Cut Pro 6 edit suites. All participants will rotate through key crew roles while learning basic screen language, lighting and sound techniques.
Special Feature: Participants will receive a DVD of all productions made.

Create a personal audiovisual piece about people or ideas that are important to you using creative storytelling techniques and produce work that you can share with friends and family. Familiarise yourself with iPhoto, iMovie and more from Apple’s iLife suite in our Digital Media Lab. Learn how to weave together photographs, visual effects, sound effects, music and narration to bring your story to life. Finally, develop skills in DVD production, compression and formatting for mobile phones and the web.
