PRICING
We make every effort to provide training at an affordable and competitive
price with Metro Screen members receiving a 15% discount on short courses.
A 12 month membership is $60 or $40 concession. Course notes and equipment
are included in the price unless otherwise specified. Accredited courses
are GST exempt and non-accredited courses include GST. Where charged,
GST is included in the prices listed below and will appear on your invoice.
Our refund policy is provided on our website and on enrolment forms.

SCHOLARSHIPS
Thanks to support from the NSW Film and Television Office we are able
to offer
free training courses to Indigenous film-makers through our Indigenous
Media Training Scholarship. If you are interested in participating in
one of our short courses, please contact us or visit our website to download
the relevant forms.
The NSW Department of Education and Training regularly funds Metro Screen
to run scholarship programs for emerging artists in film, TV and multimedia.

TAILOR-MADE COURSES
We create tailor-made courses for industry, community and corporate groups,
covering technical production and postproduction. We can assist in upskilling
media professionals, provide team building packages for corporations and

ONE-ON-ONE TRAINING
One-on-one training can be arranged at Metro Screen or offsite. Prices
below are a guide, and subject to change according to the specifics of
your request.
Offsite training, no equipment supplied by Metro Screen [price inc. tutor
and course development]: $99 per hour [GST inc.]
Onsite Training in Apple applications, [inc. tutor, course development
and Mac G5 with full Final Cut Studio 2 Suite]: $165
per hour [GST inc.] |

SHORT COURSES

us or drop in.
LEVELS
To help you choose the right course, please use our rating system as a
guide.
Open to All: All levels of experience will benefit.
Beginner: With little or no experience in
film and television production, self-taught and would like to formalise
their learning in a particular area. No prior knowledge is assumed.
Intermediate: With a moderate amount of relevant
experience or knowledge of a related subject or other transferable knowledge.
Advanced: With a high level of relevant experience, expert knowledge
in a related subject or wishing to upskill or specialise. A professional
wishing to enhance specific skills.
QUALIFICATIONS
VETAB accredited short courses are marked with an *. On successful completion
of this Nationally Recognised Training, students receive a Certificate
and Statement of Attainment. Details of specific units of competency and
assessment are available upon request. All other short course participants
receive a Metro Screen certificate on completion.
