As a Registered Training Organisation [RTO] we deliver accredited vocational courses, which lead to nationally recognised qualifications. All our tutors are expert professionals who work in the industry and teach part-time to pass on their skills and insights.

• Short Courses
  A comprehensive array of short courses across all areas of filmmaking and media production. Whether your aim is to write a script, become a TV producer or edit a feature film we can help you make your dreams reality.
• Full-time Certificate IV
  An intensive hands-on experience, the Certificate IV in Screen and Media [CUF40107] will provide you with an impressive showreel of documentary, drama and client focused work.
• Part-time Certificate IV
  With our brand new part-time Certificate IV in Screen and Media [CUF40107] you can study at your own pace and select the subjects you’re most interested in from our range of accredited short courses.
• Young Filmmakers
  For young people aged 11–16, our Young Filmmakers program and Channel Free projects are a must for budding filmmakers who want to develop their skills in a fun industry-focused environment.
• Mobile Unit
  From Albury to Wollongong, we run training courses state-wide. From weekend workshops to intensive accredited training we have an excellent track record in creating courses for a variety of groups in remote rural areas and regional towns.

We also provide tailored training and various scholarships.

Metro Screen provided me with the first steps I needed to begin a career in Multimedia. The course was a fantastic introduction to all the creative and technical possibilities of digital media. Many years later, I now run my own multimedia company and I write and direct my own animation films. My latest work is screening in International Film Festivals all over the world. I have an exciting career that still challenges me to learn new things and provides me with endless creative possibilities. When  I look back, I realize that it all began with that first course that I studied at Metro Screen.
