Part-time Certificate IV in Screen and Media

You can now obtain this industry relevant qualification by completing
a range of Metro Screen accredited short courses at your own pace. If
you have pre-existing knowledge or industry experience you may also be
eligible to fast track through Recognition of Prior Learning [RPL].
This practical, convenient option is great for those who may not be able
to commit to the full-time option.
Three simple steps

Register as a part-time Cert IV student. In your initial consultation
we will assist you in selecting the best courses to give you your customised
skills set. We’ll then provide you with the learning tools to enable
you to gain the three compulsory core units required to obtain the complete
qualification.

Once you’ve chosen the courses, simply enrol and pay as you normally
would for our short courses. We will then add the course work to your
portfolio and guide you through your Certificate IV training.

Graduate! Once you have accumulated the required number of units we
will provide the final assessment in order for you to receive your Certificate
IV In Screen and Media. You’ll also be our guest at an official
graduation ceremony along with the full time Cert IV students.
Dates
You can register as a part-time Certificate IV student at any time, with
individual consultations arranged by appointment. Registration is valid
for 18 months. Short course descriptions are listed below, with dates
to be published on our website.
Cost
The part-time Certificate IV registration fee is $450. This one-off payment
includes an initial consultation to customise your training program, participation in a self-paced learning program in addition to the short courses you take, final assessment of all your coursework and for successful participants, issuance of the full qualification.
