Samuel Bartlett

Samuel Bartlett attended AFTRS in 2009 then completed his Masters in Film at Sydney University in 2010. He shot a Found Footage Feature film Starring Matt Doran (The Matrix) in 2010 and has shot an array of short films and music videos. Besides directing his passion lies in screenwriting, where his feature screenplays have been successful in many top American screenplay competitions.

The Grand Design

The Grand Design debates determinism versus freewill. A metaphysics student that believes he has created a theorem that scientifically proves fate experiences the same day twice, each with different fatal outcomes.
Ultimately he finds himself at the beginning of the same day, however he is now burdened with the fore knowledge of the two alternate outcomes that lie before him and must choose between sacrificing his own life, or that of a complete stranger.
